The lobby of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be undergoing modifications for several weeks in late 2025.
From early October to early November 2025, workers will be renovating the main lobby at Fort Wilderness. According to information provided by Disney, temporary closures of the building may be necessary. Guests should follow signage at the resort to be directed to cast members.
No details have been released about the exact nature of the updates. In recent years, Disney has transformed several resort lobbies from a massive front desk setup to individual podiums which allow for more personal interaction with guests.
More than 300 cabins at the resort have been transformed into Disney Vacation Club villas. Additional resort updates are under way at the main pool. Construction continues on the proposed DVC property Disney Lakeshore Lodge, situated between Fort Wilderness and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
