Construction on the newest Disney Vacation Club continues with the A-frame cabin-like structures taking shape along the shoreline.
Disney Lakeshore Lodge continues to rise alongside neighboring Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The large structure sits alongside Bay Lake in the spot formerly occupied by River Country waterpark.
The resort is set to be a combination of Disney Vacation Club villas and hotel rooms. The villas are generally believed to be on the right hand side of the image above, with a closer view below.
The resort will have the usual assortment of Studio and larger villas. In the closer image below, the recessed balcony areas are visible for the larger lockoff units.
Below is the appoximate midpoint of the resort where two wings of the hotel come together.
A number of these free-standing A-frames will be available to reserve, similar to the bungalows at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and the cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins.
The above image shows the hotel rooms in the foreground with the villas off to the right. A large pool complex is expected to fill the space between the buildings.
The image above shows the close proximity of Lakeshore Lodge to the Settlement Depot at Fort Wilderness. Some of the hotel rooms will have a view overlooking Crockett's Tavern and the arcade.

From the Settlement Depot bus stop, the new hotel is just a short walk away. Tri Circle D Ranch sits just to the left of the above image.
Finally, a brief look at the opposite side of the resort from the road connecting Fort Wilderness to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Above is what appears to be the DVC wing.
Disney recently revealed plans to expand the Meadow Swimmin' Pool at Fort Wilderness to include a second pool, pickleball courts and more.
DVC is currently selling points in three resorts located at Walt Disney World: Fort Wilderness Cabins, Disney's Polyensian Villas & Bungalows and Disney's Riviera Resort. Riviera is expected to reach it's "sold out" threshold sometime in late 2026 or early 2027. That would likely pave the way for the debut of Lakeshore Lodge.
