Disney Vacation Club has issued the following statement regarding the posting and subsequent removal of the points charts for 2010:
On January 21 a version of the 2010 Vacation Point Charts was incorrectly posted. An updated version will be made available within the next week. Members with valid email addresses on record will receive an email when the new charts are available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

On the heels of yesterday's revelation that Disney Vacation Club is apparently reallocating the points charts for 2010 , we thought we would share some of the legalese which makes this move legally permissible.
For just the second time in its 18 year history, Disney Vacation Club has taken steps to reallocate the points charts for existing DVC resorts. The result--more expensive trips for those who favor Sunday - Thursday stays.
It's time for our annual reminder that Disney Vacation Club Member Services telephone lines tend to be quite busy throughout the month of January. This is the start of the 11-month booking window for reservations for December 2009.
The entire 5-6 week period from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day tends to be one of the busiest on the DVC calendar. Between the low point costs for early-December, holiday decorations and festivities and the need for many owners to travel during school vacation periods, many members book 11 months in advance and the resorts are near capacity for that entire timeframe.
Be prepared for busy signals and long waits when contacting Member Services at least through the end of January.
