While we knew that villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa would be receiving a lot of attention, these early photos illustrate exactly how much work is going into each room.
Saragoga Springs One Bedroom Villa
Two buildings in the Congress Park section are currently closed for renovations. The images below were captured very recently from the first of building to close, located nearest to the Disney Springs walkway. These ground floor rooms have been stripped down to the drywall. Nearly every aspect of the villa will be updated from kitchen cabinets and counters to furniture, appliances flooring, wallcoverings and more.

Exterior refurbishment
Each building at Saratoga Springs contains 46 Disney Vacation Club villas. Since this particular building has been closed since mid-June, there are likely individual rooms which are further along in renovations than this unit. However, it is unlikely that the building will reopen to guests until crews have completed work on all of its villas. No specific timeline has been revealed for completion of a single building.
DVCinfo.com has posted an Instagram user's photos of a renovated villa. These images likely come from a model room used to evaluate design changes before the project start.
The entire refurbishment project is slated to take nearly 2 years, running into spring 2021.
Thanks to David for the photos!
