Note that these renovations are occurring at the BoardWalk Inn and not the BoardWalk Villas. Disney has been renovating many of its Deluxe-class resorts in recent years including resorts like the Wilderness Lodge which which also house Disney Vacation Club villas. However no announcements have been made regarding similar renovations to Vacation Club rooms.
A few weeks ago we reported on Disney's plan to close the BoardWalk Villas quiet pool from late-April into early-May for refurbishment. More recently we've received reports that the refurb dates have changed.
The quiet pool is now scheduled to be closed from May 19th through May 30th.
During that period guests will still have access to the Luna Park main pool and the quiet pool on the BoardWalk Inn side of the resort.
Allearsnet.com is reporting that the operating house for the BoardWalk's Atlantic Dance Hall have changed. Effective April 1st the dance club is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9pm to 1am.
