Beginning in mid-August 2026, the lobby of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village will undergo a phased refurbishment with spaces and amenities periodically unavailable to guests. 

The first refurbished rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas may begin to host guests as early as today. 

The Fall 2025 refurbishment has begun on Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and we've got the latest intel on which rooms are being renovated first, when the first updated rooms are expected to be available for guest stays and how long the project will take to complete. 

The pool slide at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village will close for maintenance beginning next month. 

Renovations are set to run from October 2025 to January 2027, starting with Kidani Village at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.
