Recently details emerged regarding a planned upgrade to Disney Vacation Club computer systems which will result in Member Services downtime on October 12 and 13. However it how appears that the downtime will impact not only DVC but all of Disney's reservation systems.
On October 14, 2010 Disney Vacation Club will be updating its core software systems to add a number of new features. Many new features have already been revealed such as emailing of reservation confirmations. But it turns out members will also gain significant flexibility in relation to the Disney Dining Plans.
Disney Vacation Club is on the verge of a scheduled upgrade to its computer system. Due to the nature of the upgrade, Member Services will close for more than a day in mid-October.
