Disney Vacation Club recently updated its minimum purchase thresholds for several resorts, allowing current owners to purchase as few as 25 additional points. 

In July 2025 Disney unveiled new sales incentives for several Disney Vacation Club resorts.  Those new incentives seem to have caught buyers’ attention, resulting in an increase in sales in August 2025. 

Led by improved sales for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, there was a modest uptick of direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points in July 2025.

August 14 signals the start of Welcome Home Weeks for 2025, and Disney Vacation Club has boosted many of its member add-on discounts by an additional $5 per point.

Direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points usually fluctuate from month to month, rising or dropping an average of over 17% in the last 24 months.  But in the last three months, direct sales have hovered around the same mark.
