Disney Vacation Club has announced that prices for two of its properties will rise to $150 per point next month.  

Those who viewed the "Disney Vacation Club Discovered" webcast in February or March should soon find a surprise in their mailboxes.  

Despite a resurgence in sales for Disney's Boardwalk Villas, overall sales declined in March 2013 for the nine Disney Vacation Club resorts for which sales data is available. For the month, Disney Vacation Development sold 125,029 Disney Vacation Club points, a drop of 7.1% compared to the previous month.

Following recent program changes, Disney Vacation Club has established new rates for buyers financing their purchase or add-on with rates ranging from 9% - 17.5%.  

As expected, Disney Vacaion Club yesterday raised its base prices on nearly every property currently being marketed.  But on two properties, new incentives help mitigate the higher rates.
