Anniversary Promotion Cannot Blunt Higher Prices in Late Winter 2026 Disney Vacation Club Incentives

NOTE: Thanks to lack of transparency in DVC's pricing, a $1000 Disney Visa offer became known after the information below was written. It is only available to Disney Visa cardholders. However, it does improve the math in many scenarios, potentailly resulting in prices that are better than the prior round of incentives. While the per-point rates cited below are correct, buyers may need guidance from a sales representative to layer the variety of separate discounts offered to select groups.  

Disney Vacation Club's pricing philosophy can often be described as 'price creep.' Every few months, new rates are rolled out which typically raise the bar another dollar or two, while using different promotional structures to frame the rates differently.

This cycle's twist is a $1000 Anniversary Incentive which applies to first-time purchases of 200 or more points, and owner add-ons of 150 or more.  The incentive is a flat $1000 off of an qualifying purchase, valuing it at a maximum of $5.00 per point for a 200-point initial purchase or $6.66 each for a 150-point add-on. However, this comes on the heels of a $3-8 price increase for all actively-selling resorts. 

An initial purchase of 200 points at Disney's Riviera Resort is priced at $224 each, but the added incentive can take that down to $219 each. That price is noticably higher than $213 per point during the last cycle. Meanwhile a 150-point add-on is $224 each or $217.33 after the bonus incentive. Again, a few dollars higher than the previous $213 per point. 

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort continues to sport the best rates among Walt Disney World resorts actively selling. Last time out, buyers benefitted from a $1500 bonus incentive. The lower $1000 anniversary deal combined with higher base price of $243 each means moderately higher out-the-door rates.

Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is once again priced as the elite destination. Especially at the lower levels. Per-point incentives are virutally changed from last time, leaving buyers to shoulder the impact of the $8 price increase. However, the anniversary incentive does help a bit at higher levels.  A first-time buy of 200 points will run about $230 each ($235 less $5 each for the anniversary bonus) compared to $226 during the last round. Current members pay about $228 point point for 150 vs $226 last time.

Aulani continues to have some appealing rates for buyers who may value the home resort advantage in Hawaii. The base is up to $243 per point with appealing discounts and the $1000 bonus. 

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel also had a $1500 bonus incentive last round, now down to just $1000. Its base price increased by a lesser amount of $3 per point. Combined with modest incentives, net prices are still a few dollars higher at all levels for new and current owners. A 200 point first-time purchase is priced at $224 per point less the flat discount of $1000. Last time the discounted rate was $222 less a $1500 promo.

Similarly, an add-on of 150 is now $224 less $1000. Previously the same could be had for $222 less $1500.  

A special add-on offer for Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort is also available for current owners only, though details are unclear.  

Above offers for all resorts are set to expire on April 27, 2026.  

Disney Vacation Club's Magical Beginnings program may apply to certain resort purchases. Magical Beginnings allows buyers to effectively sell back their first year's set of points in return for an additional credit of $20 per point. Additional discounts may be offered for D23 members, Chase Disney Cardholders, active duty military and other groups.
