Higher Prices Across the Board with 2025 Late-Winter Disney Vacation Club Incentives

Disney Vacation Club has revealed its latest round of direct purchase incentives. Rates are valid now through April 28, 2025. While there are some levels where the incentive amount was tweaked by a few dollars compared to the early winter rates, these new prices represent higher net cost at every level.

Most resorts now sit at a base price of $235 per point, a $10 increase over the prior $225 rate. For Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, first time buyers purchasing 200 points receive a modest $8 per point discount for a net rate of $227 each. Current owners adding 200 points would make out a little better with $12 savingss for a net of $223 each.   

Incentives for The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort came back down to earth. Despite slow sales, rates are now little better than other Walt Disney World destinations like Polynesian and Disney's Riviera Resort. 

During the last round of incentives, 200 points in The Cabins were discounted by $27 per point for new owners and $32 for current owners adding-on. Today those incentives are down to $18 and $26 respectively. Combined with the $10 price increase, it's a much more expensive purchase now than just a few days ago.  

Riviera prices have similarly increased, with both the base price increase and lower incentives driving up the out-of-pocket cost.  200 points purchased at a base price of $235 would cost $47,000 with no incentives applied. A first time buyer saves $2,800 via the per-point incentive (200 x $14) for a net rate of $44,200 or $221 per point. 

A current DVC owner adding 200 points would save $4,800 via the per-point incentive for an net price of $44,200 or $206 per point. 

Aulani incentives improved a bit, but again not enough to offset the higher base price.  At 200 points, first time buyers save $16 each while current owners do better at $26 off. More substantial savings kick-in at 250 points for new owners. 

The base price for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel rose by just $6 per point to $245 each and the incentives are largely unchanged from the prior cycle. 200 vacation points currently goes for $225 each for a new member and $221 for a current owner adding-on. 

An offer exclusively for Chase Disney Visa cardholders is available for all 5 resorts listed above. Buyers can save a flat $1000 off any new purchase or add-on of 150 or more points. Finally, two sold-out resorts currently have incentives for both new buyers and current owners adding-on. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and Disney's Sartoga Springs Resort are both priced at $215 each. With incentives of $16 off for new owners and $24 for add-ons, 200 points go for just $199 and $191 per point respectively. 

These two resorts are a good value proposition as a DVC purchase, albeit with a shorter ownership duration. Contract for Saratoga Springs expire in January 2054 and Animal Kingdom in 2057. Compare that with resorts like Riviera which runs until 2070 and Ft Wilderness into 2075. 

This special offer for Animal Kingdom and Saratoga Springs is available only through March 3, 2025. Other rates above are scheduled to remain in place until April 28, 2025. 

Disney Vacation Club's Magical Beginnings program may apply to most point purchases. Magical Beginnings allows buyers to effectively sell back their first year's set of points in return for an additional credit of $20 per point.
