Disney, Alamo renew deal

On Tuesday it was announced that Alamo had renewed its sponsorship agreement at the Disney theme parks.  With rental locations at the Magic Kingdom-area Car Care Center, Epcot-area Dolphin Resort, Disneyland's Downtown Disney as well as nearby airports, Alamo provides a convenient solution for guests seeking a limited time vehicle rentals or an alternative to Disney's Magical Express.

Magical Express Changes

Starting on March 30, 2009, Disney's Magical Express will no longer offer luggage retrieval service for arrivals to Orlando International Airport after 10:00pm. Guests will have to get their own luggage at the baggage claim area and report to the Magical Express motor coach. They will then be transported to their on-site hotel. This will allow late-arriving guests to have access to their bags without any delays.

Luggage delivery service will still be provided to guests arriving at MCO from 5:00am until 10:00pm.

More Changes to DME Luggage Policies

In recent weeks Disney has been forced to alter its luggage handling processes for Disney's Magical Express due to policy changes enacted by the participating airlines.  Initial information suggested that Disney would only accept the number of bags designated as "free" by certain airlines.  Now it appears they have taken steps to make the changes a little more palatable for travelers.
