The monorail system at Walt Disney World will be operating on a modified schedule for several days in May 2017. 

New documents obtained via the Reedy Creek Improvement District--the municipality which encompasses Walt Disney World--seemingly confirm intentions to build an airborne gondola system linking at least three resorts and two theme parks.  

Northern Gondola Route

Recent construction permits for Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Hollywood Studios carefully avoid using the word "gondola."  However, armed with rumors of a radical new transportation system coming to Walt Disney World, it's difficult to draw any other conclusions when reviewing the documents.  

Renovations to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will apparently not include water launch transportation to a Walt Disney World theme park, but may include something far more unique.

London's Emrates Air Line

Changes are coming to Walt Disney World's bus routes, making it easier for guests to visit the rapidly-expanding Disney Springs shopping and dining district.
