A Walt Disney World attraction will soon close, seemingly to pave the way for additional parking capacity.  

Effective September 1, 2014, Walt Disney World has implemented changes to the operating schedule for its monorail system. 

As part of ongoing construction efforts in the Downtown Disney area, the Marketplace boat dock will soon close for an extended period.  

The Walt Disney World monorail system will experience daily shutdowns for maintenance purposes in the first part of 2014.  

For the next two weeks, the Walt Disney World resort monorail will be out of service during daytime hours.
