Copper Creek Refurbishment Moves to 3rd Floor

Wilderness Lodge

The top floors of Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge have already been updated as the soft goods refurbishment moves swiftly though the building.

After making its debut in July 2017, this is the first renovation for the Copper Creek rooms at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It is a soft goods refresh, meaning changes are limited to things like flooring, drapes and minor furnishings. The rooms received a new area rug atop the vinyl flooring and slightly modified paint scheme. There are also new Keurig coffee makers sporting both a traditional pot and single-use coffee pods.

Most significantly, rooms are being updated with the pull-down convertible sofa beds. As with other resorts, Deluxe Studio rooms are equipped with full size sofa beds while One and Two Bedroom Villas have a queen pull-down. No additional twin size beds are being added, leaving the occupancy at maximum 4 guests for Studio and One Bedroom, and 8 guests for Two bedroom.

It is not known if all villas will be able to support the pull down beds. Some rooms in the neighboring Boulder Ridge Villas were forced to retain the pull-out sofa beds due to design issues which prevented installation of the Murphy Beds.

The refurbishment began in May 2025. Initial estimates suggested it would be completed by September, though Disney Vacation Club has not confirmed.
