Website About.com has posted some photos of the new Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas (link.)  Included are work-in-progress imagesof the building interiors and several balcony shots highlighing the proximity of some villas to the Sassagoula River. 

The Treehouse Villas are still under contruction and the finished product is subject to change.  The units are available for member stays beginning on June 1, 2009.

Initially scheduled to run through March 27, refurbishment work at Saratoga Springs' High Rock Spring pool has been extended to run through March 30, 2009.  During the refurbishment all Saratoga Springs guests are welcome to use any of the three Leisure Pool at the resort, or pool hop to Disney's Old Key West Resort.  Disney Vacation Club members can also pool hop to other eligible resort pools. 

The poolside activity program at Saratoga Springs has been shifted to another location and will continue during the refurbishment.  Contact the resort's front desk for details.

The Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are scheduled to open on June 1, 2009, but you couldn't tell that by looking at them--the buildings appear to be read to host guests today.

According to a Disney Vacation Club source, construction is actually ahead of schedule and well on the way to meeting the June 1st opening date.  Work began with the villas furthest from the entrance off of Disney Vacation Club Way.  Many of the first villas are already complete and merely await their furniture deliveries.  

Inside are a handful of images of the buildings which line the Lake Buena Vista golf course.  These buildings are visible from The Grandstand neighborhood of Saratoga Springs and would have a golf course view.

Disney Vacation Club recently amended the Saratoga Springs Resort Condominium Association to add the first of its Treehouse Villas to member inventory.  Among these public filings are a series of surveyor's plans which reveal many new details of these forthcoming DVC units.
