The cool--and slow--winter months are a great time for Disney to tackle preventative maintenance projects throughout its parks and resorts. This year Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is receiving quite a bit of TLC with numerous refurbishments planned.
Here is a list of the refurbishment projects currently under way or planned for Saratoga Springs:
Now - February 8, 2011: The Paddock Parking Lot rejuvination and restriping.
Now - February 9, 2011: Broadway Road repaving.
Now - February 11, 2011: The Treehouse VIllas area road paving. Work taking place from 9am to 7pm daily. Automobile and bus access will be maintained.
Now - June 20, 2011: The Paddock leisure pool closed during conversion to feature pool.
Now - Summer 2012: One villa building closed and painted at a time. Painting will occur Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.
February 22 - April 1, 2011: Carriage House / Artist Palette exterior refinishing.
