On the morning of October 15, 2024, owners of Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can begin booking rooms in the new Island Tower building up to 11 months in advance.
At long last, Disney Vacation Club is set to begin accepting member reservations for Island Tower. All Polynesian owners are eligible to book, regardless of whether they bought into the DVC longhouses in 2014 or 2015 or are new owners who have added-on since Island Tower sales opened on October 1st. Reservations are also available to both direct buyers and resale owners.
The new building is set to open on December 17, 2024. As of October 15, owners have access to all check-in dates from December 17, 2024 through October 15, 2025.
Island Tower will open with limited inventory for members booking with DVC points. The first rooms declared into the Polynesian condominium assocation consist of the following:
- 9 - Duo Studios
- 14 - Dedicated Studios
- 4 - Dedicated One-Bedrooms
- 10 - Lockout Two-Bedrooms
- 1 - Dedicated Two-Bedroom
- 2 - Two-Bedroom Deluxe
Initial member room inventory may be limited to these units. However, DVC does have a pattern of anticipating future declarations and releasing additional rooms for future dates. Regardless, expect availability to be limited in the early months as the majority of the building remains Disney's to rent to cash guests. More inventory will be gradually added as points are sold, until the entire tower is eventually open to just DVC members.
The DVC members-only website opens daily for reservations at 8:00am eastern. However, for this special booking window, owners must call Member Services which opens at 9:00am eastern.
Point sales for Island Tower expands to first time buyers on October 29. 2024. Those owners can begin making reservations effective November 5, 2024.
