How about a quick look at the new Disney Vacation Club resort from another angle?
We've seen images of the new tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort from the monorail. And we've seen images from grounds of the existing Polynesian resort. But how about a look from outside the property?
Our friend Sandy from Instant Impressions Travel Services sent along a few images of the new Polynesian development taken from Floridian Way which runs to the west of the resort between the Polynesian and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The image above shows the main tower off in the distance, still somewhat obscured by trees.
Up closer, the size of the building becomes more apparent, along with its close proximity to the monorail beam. The tower will not have its own monorail stop; guests will have to make their way to either the Great Ceremonial House or Grand Floridian lobby to catch the train.
The tower is expected to rise to 10-12 floors at its peak. The competed building will open sometime in late 2024.
