New images from both ground level and above as work continues on the new Disney Vacation Club tower.
Work on the new Disney Vacation Club tower is progressing slowly with no vertical construction having yet begun. The walking path along the Seven Seas Lagoon remains open, connecting Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
The walkway which formerly lead into Luau Cove is still visible (below).
From the monorail, the area inside of construction fencing is clearly visible. However, crews are still working on site prep with few building materials in sight.
The image above depicts the location of the new resort pool, with land being sculpted to suit the amenity.
The building and its amenities are scheduled for completion sometime in 2024. It is not known if this building will be part of the current condominium association for Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows or a separate Disney Vacation Club entity.
