Rumors suggest that the Promenade Fine Art Gallery located on Disney's BoardWalk will close next month.
Website WDW News Today is reporting that the Promenade Art Gallery is set to close permanently in October. News comes from cast members who were recently informed of the decision.
Formerly known as the Wyland Gallery, the outlet was renamed back in 2022. It has been a fixture on Disney's BoardWalk for many years. Wyland Gallery formerly operated a location at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows which closed back in 2014. Promenade Fine Art Gallery has another presence at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and a gallery in St Petersburg.
Screen Door refurbishment
This is the latest in a string of closures on the western side of Disney's BoardWalk. Big River Grille & Brewing Works abruptly closed in January 2024. Jellyrolls Dueling Piano bar followed in April 2025. Also in this section of the BoardWalk is The Screen Door General Store, which was refurbished over a period of several months in mid-2025.
No immediate plans have been announced for any of these vacated spaces. At the Disney Vacation Club condominium meeting in December 2024, board members indicated that Disney was continuing to evaluate options.
Recent additons to Disney's BoardWalk include The Cake Bake Shop cafe and bakery, and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs.
