Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs has announced that its new location on Disney's BoardWalk will not debut in 2023 as originally anticipated.
Back in July, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs revealed plans to open a new location on Disney's BoardWalk before the end of 2023. A more recent post to its Instagram account announced that the Walt Disney World venue has been delayed and will not open until sometime in 2024. No other specific timeframe has been provided.
However, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs offered a preview of several menu iteme planned for the new restaurant. Included are:
- Mexican Street Corn Dog
- Pickle Dog
- Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade (Non-alcoholic beverages)
- Fresh Spun Cotton Candy
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs currently has a location in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort. The Pickle Dog noted above is already a Disneyland favorite. It features a Hot Dog wrapped in a Pickle, fried in Cornmeal Batter and crusted with Panko.
This is the latest in several changes at Disney's BoardWalk. Other moves include the reimagining of BoardWalk Bakery into the BoardWalk Deli and the still under construction Cake Bake Shop planned for the former site of ESPN Club.
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is taking over the venue previously occupied by BoardWalk To Go.
