Walt Disney Imagineering moved quickly to rectify an error in the reimagined pool slide at Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas.
Earlier this week, Disney shared a sneak peek at the new graphics being installed on the slide at Luna Park pool. Unfortunately the name of the pool's Keister Coaster slide was misspelled "Kiester."
The post was quickly removed and just 2 days later, Imagineer Zach Riddley has shared a new look at the corrected design. In an Instagram post, Riddley admitted the mistake saying "that’s kEIster! We triple-checked!"
According to various online dictionaries, both spellings are acceptable for the slang term referring to one's derrier. However, there are numerous examples of Disney utilizing the spelling "Keister" in reference to the Disney Vacation Club destination.
The three new images depict Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck among the updated slide graphics. The slide is scheduled to reopen before the end of the year.
