The hot entrees include typical fare such as eggs any style, bacon, and sausage, plus choices with an African flair, such as fruit sosatie, Tanzanian hash browns, coconut Johnny cakes and tomato chutney. Even Mickey waffles are on the menu. Prices range from $4.99 to $10.99 for the hot entrees.
As with other Disney quick service restaurants, guests order their food before selecting their table. But in keeping with its African theme, Saana uses little toy safari animals as table markers. These animals help the servers get the right order to the right table. While waiting for their food, diners can watch the real animals on the Sunset Savanna.
For those guests who don’t want to eat at the restaurant, the hot entrees can be ordered for carry out. There is also a wide variety of grab-and-go items, including fruit plates, yogurt, pastries, coffee, tea, milk and juices.
Breakfast is served in the Saana restaurant from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM every morning. For guests using one of the Disney Dining Plans, the hot entree items require one Quick Service credit. Guests staying at Jambo House at Animal Kingdom Lodge can use the free shuttle service.
