On several occasions Disney Vacation Club president Jim Lewis has committed to bringing on-line reservations to DVC members sometime in 2010. It appears that commitment is moving closer to becoming a reality.
Multiple posters on the DISBoards have been asked to participate in an early test of an on-line reservation component. Presumedly this feature would allow members to make reservations using DVC points, in realtime, via DVCMember.com.
The members contacted all reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, which is apparently the location of the software developer working on the project. It appears this initial testing will be conducted in the developer's offices or a nearby facility reserved for the event.
Testing is scheduled to occur in mid-November 2009. There is no word on how far off a live implementation might be.
