Yahoo Real Estate recently took a look at the Golden Oak housing development under construction at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Golden Oak is a gated community located about 3 miles from the Magic Kingdom. Home prices range from $1.5 million to $8 million.
A Disney representative claims that sales are exceeding expectations, with 21 of 81 Phase 1 lots sold and others listed as sale pending. The complete buildout is expected to take up to 10 years.
