Disney has launched a new line of merchandise for Disney Vacation Club owners and the MagicBand+ is currently available for online ordering.
A new line of DVC member merchandise appears to be rolling out to Disney resort gift shops. In conjunction with that launch, this DVC MagicBand+ can now be ordered online by members with an upcoming resort reservation.
The design features a light blue and white color scheme with images of Mickey Mouse in a variety of travel scenes. It seems to coordinate with new character meet set to debut at ImaginAtrium member lounge in EPCOT in association with the Membership Magic Beyond program.
The band is normally priced at $44.99, however it is discounted to $34.99 for guests ordering prior to their resort stay.
To order, log into the Disney parks website. Under the "My Disney Experience" menu at the top, select "My MagicBands and Cards." Choose a vacation and a member of your traveling party to see all of the current pre-order MagicBand options. Note that the supply of each MagicBand design is fluid and they may drop out of stock at any time.
The MagicBand+ launched back in 2022. This latest evolution of Disney's wristband features a light up face and rechargable battery. MagicBands are linked to a single user's Disney account and cannot be transferred. At Walt Disney World, bands can be used to enter Disney hotel rooms and villas, for theme park entry, Lightning Lane redemption and at retail and food service venues which support touch-to-pay. Current generation MagicBand+ can also be used at Disneyland and on Disney Cruise Line ships.
