Disney Vacation Club has announced plans to host its first ever member-exclusive River Cruise in 2026 traveling through southern France.
From June 4-11, 2026, DVC owners can participate in an exclusive Adventures by Disney Rivier Cruise on a journey from Lyon to Provence. The complete itinerary is as follows:
- Thursday, June 4, 2026 – Lyon, France
- Friday, June 5, 2026 – Lyon, France
- Saturday, June 6, 2026 – Tournon, France
- Sunday, June 7, 2026 – Viviers, France
- Monday, June 8, 2026 – Avignon, France
- Tuesday, June 9, 2026 – Avignon, France
- Wednesday, June 10, 2026 – Arles, France
- Thursday, June 11, 2026 – Marseille, France
These smaller scale river cruise experiences offer more personalized service and a greater immersion in the people, places and culture of all destinations visited.
During this Disney Vacation Club exclusive cruise, Disney artist and the voice of Mickey Mouse Bret Iwan is scheduled to sail with members. According to DVC, Iwan will "join Members in the voyage’s guided adventures at each idyllic port and spend quality time adventuring together with some of the best Disney fans on Earth."
Booking for the member river cruise opens at 9:00am eastern on February 18, 2025. A 10% down payment is dues at the time of booking. Members may pay for the cruise in either cash or Disney Vacation Club points. Costs will be revealed closer to the booking date. Each passenger must be paid in full with either cash or DVC points. For this voyage, DVC has waived the member cruise policy which requires at least one passenger to be paid in DVC points. Owners must qualify for Membership Extras in order to participate, and any DVC points used must qualify for the exchange collections. Reservations will only be accepted by calling DVC Member Services.
