One of the newer Disney Vacation Club giveaways on Disney Cruise Line voyages are cruise-themed sliders for the DisneyBand or MagicBand+.
Earlier this summer, Disney Vacation Club began distributing a new design of the popular band sliders. These are available only on Disney Cruise Line trips. The sliders are navy blue with a yellow anchor featuring a Mickey head emblem. White lettering reads "Disney Vacation Club Member at Sea."
The sliders are purely decorative, easily slipped on the strap of a MagicBand or many smart watch bands. Other recent releases include a general Disney Vacation Club Member slider and a holiday-themed bauble.
DVC members are typically identified when sailing on a Disney cruise, either when using points or paying cash. Before arrival, stateroom doors are adorned with DVC Member magnets, and members can expected to be invited to a special member meeting during the sailing with free cocktails and a character appearance. Daily giveaway items are also commonplace. Items often include baseball caps, bags, lip balm, cell phone pop sockets and more.
These promotional items are made available to both direct buyers and resale point owners.
