What was originally planned as a 6-week refurbishment of the Disney Vacation Club lounge in EPCOT has extended quite a bit later.
The EPCOT DVC members-only lounge closed for refurbishment back on June 2, 2024. The project was expected to last for about 6 weeks with a planned reopening on July 14. However, the lounge remains closed according to a sign displayed on the podium in the Imagination Pavilion gift shop.
A temporary lounge opened in the Odyssey Pavilion for several weeks. However that has since closed, leaving no private space for owners inside the theme park. DVC has not provided any operational updates regarding the lounge.
Work is currently under way to bring a new member lounge to the former Frontierland Shootin' Arcade location in Magic Kingdom. Additionally, space recently opened on the second floor of the Gateway to Discovery outlet in Disney Springs. Members can check-in at Gateway to Discovery to visit model rooms for Disney's Riviera Resort and grab some refreshments. This location is currently open for walk-in visits from noon to 7pm daily.
