The 2018 Disney Vacation Club S.S. Member Cruise is on its way to the Bahamas with an impressive array of celebrity guests and exclusive experiences.
"Monsters, Inc." Director and new Pixar chief Pete Docter, composer extraordinaire Michael Giacchino, Disney animator Josie Trinidad ("Tangled", "The Princess and the Frog", "Wreck-It-Ralph") and Chef Art Smith are just a few of the personalities joining DVC owners and families this week aboard the Disney Dream.
DVC member Alan Cohen was generous enough to share some details from debarkation day on the Dream, including the above video captured as celebrity guests were being introduced to passengers.
Among the items that awaited cruisers in their staterooms are custom tote bags, caps, sunglass cases and Tervis tumblers.
Additional gifts include lip balm--to prepare for the work of Chef Art Smith--and a personal shade umbrella suitable for use everywhere from Castaway Cay to one's own backyard.
A cruise-exclusive issue of Disney Files Magazine provides background on some of unique cruise events including a preview screening of "Christopher Robin", a behind-the-scenes look at this fall's "Ralph Breaks the Internet" and other celebrity-lead sessions like "Artists in the Atrium", "Voices in the Atrium" and more.
A convenient planning booklet and lanyard will help members plan around each special event, listing not only the time and location of each session but the number of opportunities remaining.

Disney Vacation Club has two cruises on tap for 2019 including a 5-night, mid-May trip up the California coast to Vancouver and a 7-night voyage from New York City to Bermuda in October. Limited availability remains for both sailings. Contact DVC Member Services to inquire.
