In April 2016, direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points had its best month in over a year.

For the second straight year, market research firm Sharket has given high marks to many Disney Vacation Club properties for their value on the secondary market.

Disney unveiled a special member-only sales offer for Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows in February 2016, the first wide scale promotional offer for the resort. Members responded very favorably to the “Member 25th Anniversary” offer, resulting in the Polynesian posting its best month ever for sales in March 2016.

Promotional incentives may be the new norm for both Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas and Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.  Meanwhile, Disney Vacation Club reveals a price increase going into effect before the start of summer.

For the third time in the last four months, direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points failed to top 100,000 points.
