Several days ago Disney Vacation Club announced that it would begin offering members the ability to purchase up to 24 additional points per year for one-time usage at a rate of $15 per point. These points would allow members to extend a vacation in the event that they do not have enough points in their deeded ownership holdings. However there are some restrictions associated with these one-time use points, most notably members must wait until 7 months prior to arrival to purchase and use the points.
