Addressing a lingering issue since the resort's debut, Disney Vacation Club appears to be adding a connecting studio booking option for Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

UPDATE 10:10am: One DVC Member Services rep claims the appearance of this Connecting Studio option in the Resort Availability Tool is a system glitch and they do NOT plan to add such an option for members.  We have reached out to a DVC representative for comment.  Stay tuned.  

There has been some frustration over the speed with which certain Moonlight Magic theme park events have filled, often within 1-2 hours of reservations opening. The growth of DVC means there could be more than 30,000 members at WDW on any given night. Theme parks with only 3 or 4 headliner attractions don't have the capacity to accommodate that volume of riders during a 3 hour event. Capping attenance leads to frustration from those who are shut out, but expanding the limit could result in longer wait times than normal operating days.

Should DVC continue to limit attendance for these events or expand, regardless of the overall impact to attendees?

This is the fourth straight year that Disney Vacation Club has hosted members-only events at a Walt Disney World waterpark.  While the format and offerings have not changed much, it still stands as one of the more unique--and complimentary--experiences available to owners.
