Members electing not to extend their membership at Disney's Old Key West recently received a little present from Disney Vacation Club--a lithograph of their home resort. The lithograph is 17 inches by 11 inches.

A number of buildings at Disney's Old Key West Resort are scheduled for minor exterior repairs and painting early in 2009

The project will run from approximately January 6 to April 4, 2009 and will encompass buildings 23, 24, 25, 26, 49 and 50.

One of the Allears.net blogs has a photos of the new patio furniture at Disney's Old Key West Resort.  The same report also has an interesting photo of a sign that recently appeared at the Downtown Disney bus stops.

The pool slide at Disney's Old Key West Resort is also slated for refurbishment, but not until after the new year.  The sandcastle slide at Old Key West's main pool is scheduled to be closed January 5 - 23, 2009. 

During this period the main pool will remain open, as will the other pools throughout Old Key West.  Only the slide will be inaccessible while it is being refurbished.

February 29, 2008 is the final day to extend contracts at Disney's Old Key West Resort until 2057 for the price of $15 per point.  DVC is also offering special financing terms for those who extend before the end of the month.   Click HERE for complete details.

On March 1st the extension price is scheduled to increase to $25 per point.

DVC is in the process of extending contracts at Old Key West Resort an additional 15 years through January 31, 2057.  Current owners have the option of either accepting or declining the extension.  Whether they accept or decline, the current owner must complete a number of contracts with DVC.
