Disney Vacation Club members and other guests looking to walk between the Magic Kingdom and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be using a different path for the time being. 

Ten years ago, on August 4, 2009, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort welcomed its first guests. To celebrate, let's examine the history of Bay Lake Tower and some of the changes that have occurred over the years.

On December 31, 2019, Disney Vacation Club members will not have complimentary access to the lounge high atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Disney Vacation Club members can continue to enjoy the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks show from high atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. 

Walt Disney World guests wishing to attend mass on Christmas Day have several options available at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
