Current Walt Disney World guests have been invited to preview the new Kidani Village facility on Wednesday, April 22nd.  The preview will take place from 7 to 10am.  Guests will be able to visit common areas of the resort including the restaurant and new pool complex. 

The new resort is currently undergoing a "soft opening" during which Disney Cast Members have been invited to spend nights at the resort to sample the facilities and report any problems with their rooms.  

The buidling will open to guests on Friday May 1, 2009.

Allears.net has posted full Lunch and Dinner menus for the Animal Kingdom Villas' restaurant Sanaa.  Sanaa is located in the Kidani Village facility which is scheduled to open on May 1, 2009.

The grand opening of Kidani Village at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is now only one month away.  Here are a few new construction photos to get you through the next 30 days!

In February 2008, Disney Vacation Club announced that the Animal Kingdom Villas' Sunset Savanna would be closed for several months to facilitate construction at the Kidani Village facility.  The original closure dates were January 15 to April 15, 2009.  However the ending date for this disruption has since been shortened.  According to the official information from DVC, the savanna is now scheduled to re-open no later than March 24, 2009.

Additionally, some reports suggest that the savanna may already be hosting animals.
