Disney Vacation Club has outlined how it will handle point banking, one-time-use points, recent deposits to RCI, and a variety of other situations described in its April 24, 2020 announcement. 

Disney Vacation Club has committed to extending the life of points at risk of being lost due to the COVID-19 closure, while temporarily limiting members' ability to borrow future points. 

In a statement dated March 28, 2020, Disney Vacation Club pledges to evaluate "banking and expiration policy" as it relates to expiring points, but admits the duration of the COVID-19 closures will drive decisions.

As the Coronavirus crisis continues, Disney Vacation Club has been forced to reconsider allowing exceptions to standard point management guidelines. 

Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort will join the list of Coronavirus casualties when it closes later this week.
