Recently we reported on the ending of the Developer's Points incentives as of March 28, 2009 and speculated that the free Disney Cruise Line voyage incentive may also be ending.  Multiple sources have since confirmed that the DCL incentive will end this Saturday.  Additionally going forward buyers will see a change in how Disney Vacation Club purchase down-payments are calculated.

Disney Vacation Club often does not announce ending dates for its promotions and discounts but right now all signs point to changes occurring before the end of March.

With the Founding Member priority period for the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel set to end in less than two weeks, reports suggest that Disney Vacation Club Guides have begun to accept initial purchase information from other members interested in buying. 

One of the oft-discussed topics among Disney Vacation Club members is how sales are progressing.  Sales of DVC contracts (or lack thereof) is often used as a talking point when debating sales incentives and even policy changes implemented by management. 

With that in mind, we've decided to begin tracking new DVC deeds recorded by Orange County.  Included in these monthly figures are all direct contract sales for the Walt Disney World-based resorts.  The chart currenly includes sales numbers from 2006 to present and will be updated on a monthly basis.
