2016 ended on a positive note for direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points. In December 2016, 124,736 points were sold for the nine DVC resorts at Walt Disney World, a modest increase of 6.9% over the previous month. However, quarterly sales in 2016 for those same resorts recorded a healthy increase of 29.9% over the comparable three month period in 2015 (382,734 points in 2016 versus 294,686 points in 2015).
The direct price for Disney Vacation Club points will soon climb just a bit higher.

The "Notice of 2016 Annual Meetings" for each Disney Vacation Club resort--which includes budget figures for the coming year--have been posted online by DVC. Thus far, annual increases range from a miniscule 0.27% for owners of Disney's Vero Beach Resort to a 6.71% increase for owners of Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort.
