On November 23, 2007, a new Disney trading pin available to Disney Vacation Club members only will debut. Entitled "Disney Vacation Club - Epcot® Holidays Around The World 2007", the pin has an edition size of just 750 and is available only at Epcot's Pin Central. Details inside.
According to a message on DVCMember.com, there are still openings for the 2008 S.S. Member Cruise. Those with some interest in booking may want to peruse the member website along with information at www.dvcmembercruise.com. The cruise website currently contains information on the 2007 cruise, which should help give members' an idea of what to expect in '08.
Member Services will open at 9am Eastern Time on Saturday, November 17 to begin taking reservations for the 2008 SS Member Cruise. Those planning to book MUST be prepared to call right an 9am, and get comfortable for a long wait. Even with a full slate of MS representatives working the phones, it will take several hours to book all interested members.
Following is the information DVC has posted regarding the cruise, including information those calling on Saturday will find helpful.
The Member Merry Mixer events are set to return in 2007. The will event will be held just outside Epcot's International Gateway between the hours of 3pm - 5pm on the afternoon of December 6, 13, 20 and 27.
The Member Merry Mixer is a DVC members-only event designed to celebrate the holidays. Free gifts are normally distributed and refreshments are served. Characters will be on hand for photos and they typically feature live music, raffles, and other scheduled events.

Disney is bringing the Pirate & Princess Party back again in early 2008 and discounted tickets are available to DVC members. The announced dates in 2008 are:
January 21, 26, and 29
February 2, 5, 9, 14, 22, and 26
March 1, 6, 11 and 14
Regular prices are $45.95 plus tax for ages 10+ and $39.95 plus tax for ages 3-9. Discounts are available for advance purchase, Annual Passholders and DVC memebers.
